Italian glazed orange rings {Before And After}

Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups self-rising flour
1/4 cup unsalted butter at room temperature
1 1/2 tablespoons milk
1/4 cup superfine sugar
1 Orange finely grated
1 beaten egg For the topping
1 1/4 cups icing sugar
2 tablespoons limoncello liqueur or 2 tablespoons lemon syrup

Method:
A) Preheat the oven to 360F
B) Line 2 large baking sheets with baking parchment
C) Put the flour in a bowl and rub in the butter
D) Put the milk, sugar and orange rind in a small pan and stir over a low heat until sugar has dissolved
E) Add to the flour mixture, together with the egg and mix wellF) Knead lightly until smooth
G) Roll walnut-size pieces of dough into strands 15cm long
H) Twist 2 strands together and join the ends to make a circle.
I) Place on the preheated baking sheets and bake for 12 to 20 minutes or until golden

To Make The Topping
1) Stir the icing sugar and liqueur together
2) Dip the top of every cookie into topping Serve
Enjoy!
