2 lbs minced meat
1/2 tsp ginger paste
1/2 tsp garlic paste
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 tsp curry powder
Chilli powder to taste
1/4 tsp ground mixed spices
1 green or red chilli
Salt to taste
A} Preheat oven to 180°C with a rack in the middle.
B} In a food processor, add the coriander, spices, red chilli and mix.
C} Add the mixture into the minced meat
D} Add salt, egg, lemon juice, ginger and garlic paste. Mix well.
E} Add enough breadcrumbs to make the kebabs, not stick to your hand, but you also don’t want to put too much breadcrumbs as it will make the meatballs dry.
F} Knead the minced meat mixture well with your hands
G} Shape the kebabs into balls
You can marinate the mince for 1 or more hours, night time is even better and you can fry them next day.
H} Grill meatballs in pre- heat grill on medium heat for about 10 – 20 minute or until well browned / cooked through. Turn them occasionally to avoid burning them
Serve them with any sauce of your choice or dip or chutney
