Easy Homemade Chicken Tandoori: Kuku Wa Sekela

Ingredients:
1 kilo skinless Chicken pieces

Marination:
400g Natural Yogurt
3 Tablespoons Tandoori Chicken Masala
Salt to taste
1 Teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon Red chilli powder {Optional}
1 tablespoon ginger paste
1 tablespoon garlic paste
1 Teaspoon red food colour
Extra thing:
Gloves to avoid food colour in your hands

Method:
A} Clean the chicken and pat it dry, you can use a kitchen towel roll
B} Marinate the chicken with all the above ingredients, except cloves. I prefer the chicken gets marinated overnight or at least for 2 to 3 hours, in the fridge.
C} Pre heat the grill for 250 C,
D} Arrange the Chicken on the grilling tray, use the spoon to add and spread the marinated sauce {spices} all over the top of chicken pieces.
E} Place it in the grill and grill them for 20 – 25 minutes on one side.
F} } Now drain off the excess water that comes out of the grilling chicken in the tray and turn the chicken pieces, add and spread the left over marinated sauce {spices} on the pieces of the chicken again and grill them on this side for another 10 – 15 minutes.
G}Turn off the grill, remove the tray from the oven and If you want tender tandoori chicken, cover or wrap the chicken tray with a foil paper and put it back in the hot / warm grill for about 10 to 30 minutes. {make sure the grill is turn off at this point}
H} Now transfer the chicken pieces into the serving plate. You can serve this with salad, rice, bread, sauce of your choice etc.
